As the Responsible Party, Frank Energia respects your privacy and considers careful handling of your personal data a matter of course. In doing so, we ensure that we comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the use of personal data.

 We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and have therefore taken appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us.

 In this privacy statement, we tell you how we handle your personal data.

How are personal data processed?

Personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of current regulations on the protection of Personal Data and, in particular:

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC - General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter "GDPR");

  • National legislation, of any country, regulating the processing of Personal Data; or any regulations amending, developing or replacing the foregoing.

What personal data do we process?

That depends on how we know each other. If you are interested in Frank Energia and have an interest in our vision and products, we would like to keep you informed about them. To do so, we need your name and e-mail address. If you are no longer interested in Frank Energia, you can unsubscribe whenever you want. You can do this for our mailings by clicking on 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of the message.

What Personal Data are processed from the Data Subject?

Identification and contact details


First and last name, initials, NIE, date of birth, gender, address, nationality, phone number, e-mail address.

Personal data

Age, gender, nationality.


Data on social conditions

Property, asset ownership, licences, titles, permits and other rights and properties of the Data Subject.


Financial data

Advice creditworthiness Data Subject, IBAN, credit score, direct debit.

What is the purpose of processing Personal Data and what is the legal basis?

Frank Energia, as data controller, when collecting Personal Data, will indicate the purposes and legal basis for such data processing, as well as the rights of the Data Subject.

We will only use the personal data you provide to inform you about developments at Frank Energia or if you have a contract with us. We will therefore never sell your personal details to third parties, for example. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your details on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your details. There is always the possibility that we are forced to provide personal data to authorities or other third parties. For example, if this is necessary in connection with a legal obligation or for the performance of a task under public law.

To the extent necessary to assess the user's financial solvency and conduct credit risk assessments (prior to and during the contract), the Data Controller may review and process information from common creditworthiness databases. Where applicable, the Data Controller may process data obtained from various reporting entities regarding your financial solvency. Based on these consultations, it may create profiles of your creditworthiness. The data controller will always allow the user to argue what it considers relevant to defend its right or interest. Similarly, and subject to the regulations in force, the user is informed that failure to fulfil the pecuniary obligations entered into under this contract may result in the inclusion of his Personal Data in a file relating to the fulfilment or non-fulfilment of pecuniary obligations.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data and the right to data portability.

 You may send a request to access, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the revocation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to soporte@frankenergy.es

What is our policy regarding Personal Data of children under the legal age?

You can only become a customer of Frank Energia if you are of legal age (18 years or older). No Personal Data of minors is therefore processed when entering into customer relations.

However, situations may arise, for example during a promotional campaign, in which data of children under the legal age are processed. In this case, consent and authorisation is requested from parents or guardians if the minor has not yet reached the legal age of consent set out in the relevant local data processing regulations. If you are a child and are not sure you understand everything we explain, please ask your parents or guardians for help.

Regarding the use of social networks, we recommend that parents or guardians regularly monitor their children's Internet activities. Please ensure that your children do not provide us with Personal Data without seeking your permission and consent.

Frank Energia uses functional cookies to optimise the functionality of certain pages of the website. Cookies are small text files placed on the visitor's computer by a page of the website. Such a cookie stores information such as certain preferences of the visitor. This enables Frank Energia to provide an even better service to visitors the next time they visit.

 As a visitor, you can determine how cookies are handled. You can set your browser to allow, disallow or partially allow the use of functional cookies. In the latter case, you can set which websites are allowed to place functional cookies. All other websites will then be prohibited. This option is offered by most modern browsers in use.
